First Seabass on Finbait Bite! I’m pretty new to seabass fishing. I’ve had some luck catching them at night and in the grey on squid beds, but I’ve never targeted them in the day and on finbait. I'll always vividly recall the first time I fished with Greg. I tried to hire him but he wouldn't charge me. He charged to Guide and was on a roll on big giant yellows. I got it arranged. My day comes and red tide invaded the coast overnight. I told him we could go in. He said he almost guaranteed they'd RISE much shallower than recent days. We scoured 12 miles of coast and he chose a location. There were 8 other boats or other. Those big yellows started blowing geysers 360 around my boat. We went 7 for 11 and visibility was nil. In like 65 feet of water in the kelp. It was uncanny. No one else hooked one. Truthfully, I am a bit shocked he is willing to divulge so much info. A wise man will know what time it is.
