I'll always vividly recall the first time I fished with Greg. I tried to hire him but he wouldn't charge me. He charged to Guide and was on a roll on big giant yellows. I got it arranged. My day comes and red tide invaded the coast overnight. I told him we could go in. He said he almost guaranteed they'd RISE much shallower than recent days. We scoured 12 miles of coast and he chose a location. There were 8 other boats or other. Those big yellows started blowing geysers 360 around my boat. We went 7 for 11 and visibility was nil. In like 65 feet of water in the kelp. It was uncanny. No one else hooked one. Truthfully, I am a bit shocked he is willing to divulge so much info. A wise man will know what time it is.
